Switchfoot Live Photos Last Saturday
I was asked to shoot some photos for last weeks Switchfoot, Chevelle, Sick Puppies concert. I have so many good photos but wanted to get these out of Jon Foreman, the lead signer of Switchfoot. We talked backstage for a bit and he is a great guy and has always shown his honor for God. He said he would be willing to come play an acoustic set at Revive when we open and that he would continue to keep us in his prayers. Check out some of Jon’s personal music here.
Family Photoshoot
Just had a fun photoshoot over the weekend with Sandy, Chris, Shaina, and Danny. Great family, good times, and some great photos. Hope you enjoy.
New Photos & Postcard for Nick Wisda
Nick asked me to take some photos and design him a humorous flyer for his “side” business. If you need some window washing let Nick Wisda wage war on our windows!
New Jacket Project Poster
What is the Jacket Project?
Well last year after and inspirational message from Pastor Matt Brown of Sandals Church in Riverside, he challenged the whole congregation to leave their shoes at the altar so that the homeless community could enjoy some new shoes that winter. It was an awesome challenge! After service that day, the church had raised a few hundred pairs. It was quite the sight, the whole front of the stage was covered in shoes.
Well this challenged me to see how I could raise some comfort for the homeless. I personally have always had a heart for the homeless community and desired to help them more than just throwing my spare change to them on the side of the freeway. My brain started storming with ideas. As co-owner of Thresh Hold Climbing Gym in Riverside I try to honor God in as many ways as possible and thought a homeless outreach would be great.
After much conversation and thought, It finally came to me, Jackets! We can raise Jackets and we did! Last year Thresh Hold, Air1 Radio, and Sandals Church raised over 2000 jackets in a little less than a month.
This year we are doing it again and Revive Lounge is a headlining sponsor. We are airing over 100 commercials on Air1 starting November 23rd and will be collecting jackets at Thresh Hold in Riverside until December 12th! On Saturday December 12th we will be offering FREE climbing all day for anyone that brings a jacket. Air1 will be there giving out great prize packs, we will have BBQ, and free climbing lessons all day.
Revive Lounge will be there showing our face to the community and raising awareness to our cause. Please come and bring a jacket, any jacket, old, new, ugly, smelly, or really cool. But keep in mind, just because they’re homeless doesn’t mean they don’t have style!

Post from Revive Lounge
If you did not know, I am opening a Christian Lounge in Riverside, CA early 2010. The website will be launching this next week. But I likes this post so I thought I would put it here also. Enjoy!
Last week I ran into Evan Wickham at the Packing House in Redlands, CA and we chatted for about 15 minutes about his new album, his life on the road, and his new website. I shared with him the news of Revive coming to Riverside in 2010 and he was pumped on the concept. Expect him on the Revive Annual Artist Line-up!
So I went to his website to check out his new music and was very impressed. Some may think before listening to Evan that he may just be riding the coat tails of his brother Phil Wickham, but that is not the case at all. He has an amazing talent and can truly lead a powerful worship session.
Below is a video he made with his kids and I thought it was great! Watch it and if you like it pre-oder his new album “Above The Sky” coming out November 24th.
